Meaning
The machine is dispensing
steam or frothing milk.
The machine needs to be
descaled.
The machine is in the descal-
ing phase.
Prime the circuit.
- Close the service door.
- Insert the brew group.
The coff ee bean hopper is
empty.
The coff ee grounds drawer is
not inserted.
The coff ee grounds drawer
and the drip tray are full.
Action
Start the descaling cycle. If not descaled regu-
larly, the machine will stop working correctly.
Any malfunction will not be covered by the
warranty.
Press the " " button to pause the cycle.
Fill the water tank with fresh water and prime
the water circuit as described in the "Using the
Machine for the First Time" chapter.
Make sure that all components have been cor-
rectly inserted and closed.
Refi ll the coff ee bean hopper with coff ee
beans and restart the brewing cycle.
Insert the coff ee grounds drawer.
With the machine turned on, empty the coff ee
grounds drawer and the drip tray. If the coff ee
grounds drawer is emptied with the machine
turned off , or when the indicator light is not
illuminated, the coff ee cycles counter is not
reset. In this case, the indicator light indicat-
ing to empty the coff ee grounds drawer may
illuminate even when it is not full.
