Environmental Prote ction Measures • Be careful when choosing a generator to run the place, for not to disturb the environment order avoid noise pollution. Generator would disturb the environment less, do not do the sound use echo. • Engine oil drain into a suitable container not to ground or water canal. Safe ty Labels These labels warn you of those latent dangers that can cause serious accidents involving casualties.

Controlling Panel Intelligent gas-saving valve : When the engine is disconnected from the electrical equipment, the velocity of the generator will slow do wn automatically; when it is connected with it, the electric charge will make the generator return to a proper rotate speed. This installation is used to reduce the fuel consumption during the running process.
3. CHECK BEFO RE O PERATIO N WARNING: Check the generator, keep it on a horizontal surface without fail, and ensure that the engine is turned off. 1. Che ck the Engine Oil Le vel: WARNING: Using nondetergent engine oil or 2-stroke engine oil may shorten the generator’s service life.
Page 9
WARNING: -Running the engine with insufficient oil can cause serious engine damage. NO TE: T he “ Oil Alert System” will automatically stop the engine before the oil level falls below the safe limit. However, to avoid the inconvenience of an unexpected shutdown, it is still advisable to visually inspect the oil level regularly.

3. Che ck the air filter Check the air cleaner element to be sure it is clean and performs well. Dismantle the repair cover, loosen the screw on the cover of the air filter, and then dismantle the cover of the air filter to check the cleaner element. Please clean or change the element if necessary.
4. START TH E ENGINE Before starting the engine, cut off the load from the alternating current socket on the engine. a) T urn the fuel cap lever fully clockwise to the ON (open) position. NO TE: T urn the fuel cap vent lever to the OFF (close) position when transporting the generator.
Page 13
b) T urn the engine switch to the ON (open) position. c) T urn the choke lever to the ST ART position. NO TE: Do not use the choke when the engine is warm or the air temperature is high.
Page 14
d) Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then release the hold slowly by hand. e) Move the choke lever to the RUN position as the engine warms up. WARNING: If the engine stops and will not restart, check the engine oil level before troubleshooting in other areas.
Page 15
To enhance the performance of the engine in high-altitude areas, you can make special adjustments to carburetor. If you use the engine at an altitude of over 1500 meters (5000 feet), please ask the authorized agent of GENPOWER to modify the carburetor.
5. USAGE O F TH E ENGINE WARNING: - In order to prevent getting an electric shock because of incorrect operation, the engine should be earthed. T he earth port of the engine and the outside earth source are connected by a thick cable. - As spare electrical source for buildings, the connection between generator and other electric power system must be operated by professional electricians.
Page 17
Please comply with the following regulations: - When an extension cable is required, be sure to use a tough rubber sheathed flexible cable (IEC 245 or equivalent). - Limit length of extension cables; 60 m for cables of 1.5 mm² and 100 m for cables of 2.5 mm²...

LOO K OUT: - Substantial overloading that continuously lights the overload indicator light (red) may damage the generator. Marginal overloading that temporarily lights the overload indicator light (red) may shorten the service life of the generator. - Be sure that all appliances are in good working order before connecting them to the generator.
Page 19
If the red light goes out automatically in five seconds, it is in working order. If the red light is still on, please consult the authorized agent of GENPOWER. Use of the dire ct current: The direct current stock is only applicable to charge the automatic battery (12V).
Page 20
WARNING: - In order to prevent spark appearing around the battery, first link the charging wire to the generator, and then to the battery. The dismantlement should start from the battery. - Before you link the charging wire to the battery which is installed on the car, first disconnect the battery’s ground wire until the charging cable is dismantled.
Page 21
Start the engine: LOO K OUT: - T he DC receptacle can be used while the AC power is in use. - An overload DC circuit will trip the DC circuit protector (push button comes out). If this happens, wait a few minutes before pushing in the circuit protector to resume operation.
6. TURN O FF TH E ENGINE If you want to stop the engine urgently, turn the switch of the engine to the OFF (close) position. Normal use : 1. Switch off the connected equipment and pull the inserted plug. 2.
Page 23
3. T urn the fuel cap vent lever fully counterclockwise to the “ OFF” position. LOO K O UT: - Be sure the fuel cap vent lever and the engine switch are ‘‘OFF’’ when stopping, transporting and/or storing the generator.
CO. LOO K O UT: Use genuine GENPOWER parts or their equivalent. T he use of replacement parts which are not of equivalent quality may damage the generator. The Plan Chart for Maintenance...
3. When it is used for business purpose, you should write down the operating hours of the generator to confirm the correct maintenance cycle. 7.1 Change the oil Drain the oil while the engine is still warm to assure rapid and complete draining.
Please clean your hands with soap after dealing with the machine oil. WARNING: Please dispose of used motor oil in a manner that is compatible with the environment. We suggest you take it in a sealed container to your local service station for reclamation.

1. Loosen the screw on the repair cover, and dismantle the repair cover. 2. Loosen the screw on the cover of the air filter, and then dismantle the cover of the air filter. 3. Wash the element in a non-flammable or high flash point solvent and dry it thoroughly.
7.3 Maintenance of the spark plug Recommended spark plug: A7RC To ensure the engine to work in good order, the clearance of the spark plug must be correct, and has no accumulated charcoal. 1. Remove the spark plug maintenance cover. 2.
Page 29
5. Examine the spark plug with your naked eyes. If the insulator has crazed or has fragments, you should discard the spark plug. If the old spark plug needs to be used continually, you must clean it up with a brush. 6.
8. TRANSPO RT / ST O RAGE To prevent fuel spillage when transporting or during temporary storage, the generator should be secured upright in its normal operating position, with the engine switch OFF. The fuel cap vent lever is turned fully counterclockwise to the OFF position. LOO K O UT: When transporting the generator: -Do not let the gas spill out of the gasoline tank.
Page 31
C. Screw down the oil-discharging screw on the lid of the spark plug. With the drain screw loosened remove the spark plug cap, and pull the starter grip 3 to 4 times to drain the gasoline from the fuel pump. Reinstall the spark plug cap on the spark plug securely.
