Charging the batteries
WARNING
New batteries MUST be fully charged prior to initial use. Always charge
new batteries before initial use or battery life will be reduced. The batteri-
es must be charged in a well-ventilated room. DO NOT attempt to rechar-
ge the batteries and operate the power wheelchair at the same time.
WARNING
Take care when using metal objects in connection with work on the batte-
ries. Short-circuiting can cause an explosion. Always use protective glo-
ves and goggles.
WARNING
Use only chargers with a maximum 8A charging current.
