Using the Dolby® Digital Dynamic
Range Control feature

To use the Dolby Digital Dynamic Range
Control:

MENU
Press 0 and open the Sound mcnu.

Highlight Audio Setup and press@.

In the Dolby Digital Dynamic Range Controllield.
,elect Compressed. When Standard i, ,elected.
the audio is output with minimal compression.

To ,ave the new ,ettings. highlight Done and
pre,,@.
To reverlto the factory default>. highlight Reset
and press@.
Note:
• This item will be grayed out for NTSC signals,
Video, ColorStream, and PC inputs.
• The Dolby Digital Dynamic Range Control will
function in relation to Optical Output Format
(PCMmode).
Using the Locks menu
The Locks menu includes the Enable Rating
Blocking. Edit Rating Limits. Input Lock. Front
(Control) Panel Lock. GameTimer. and ew PIN
Code features. You can use these features after
entering the correct PI code.
Entering the PIN code

and highlight the locks menu icon.

Pre" T, which displays the PIN code entry
screen.
• The lock System screen (below) appear, if a

PIN code has not been stored. Press the Channcl
Number buttons to enter a new four-digit code.
enter the code a second time to confirm. and
press@.
• The locks/Active screen appears if the PI code
is already stored. Use the umber buttons to
enter your four-digit code and press @.
If the wrong PIN code is entered. the message
"Incorrect PIN code. plea,e try again'" appears.
Highlight Retry and pre,,@. Enter the code again
ancl press @.
When the correct PIN code is entered. the locks menu
opens .
Note:
PIN code can not be set to "0000".
If you cannot remember your PIN code
While the PI code entering screen is displayed, press

four times within live seconds. The PI code will
be cleared and you can enter a new PI code.
Changing your PIN code

ancl highlight the locks menu icon.

Press T to display the PI code entering ,creen.

Enter your four-digit PI code and press @.

to highlight New PIN Code and press@.

Press the Number buttons to enter a new four-
digit code. Reenter the PIN code to confirm it.

Press@. The new PIN code is now active.
Note:
PIN code can not be set to "0000".
