    1.4 LED INDICATOR The Mercury On-The-Go Pro has a blue LED at the front. The LED emits a solid blue light when the unit is powered on and flashes during drive activity.

    SYSTEM SETUP 2.1 QUICK START You will need to format your Mercury On-The-Go Pro before using it. The OWC Drive Guide formatting utility has been installed on your Mercury On-The-Go Pro to assist you. Follow these steps to use the OWC Drive Guide to format your Mercury On-The-Go Pro for Mac (OS X 10.4 and later) or Windows (XP and later).

    Mercury On-The-Go Pro. If the Mercury On-The-Go Pro is still not working properly, try connecting to another interface such as the USB port and see if the device works properly. You can also connect the Mercury On-The-Go Pro to a different computer.

    To ensure that your files are protected and to prevent data loss, we strongly suggest that you keep two copies of your data: one copy on your Mercury On-The-Go Pro and a second copy on either your internal drive or another storage medium, such as an optical backup, or on another external storage unit.
