Modes of Operation Commission Mode Expander The expander has a Commission Mode, which when operated ensures secure communications with devices on the system. Commission Mode is automatically enabled when the expander is in tamper. When in commission mode the RF signal is attenuated by -6 dB, and will reject weak signals.
