AGP & P2P Bridge Control:
This item can let you sets several items concerning the AGP parameters. If you do not understand what
each item doing, please keep the default settings as well. Wrong settings will cause system unstablity or
even prevent boot up!
AGP Aperture Size:
Seven options are available: 256M
The default setting is 64M. If you installed the AGP adapter that supports AGP 3.0 specifications, this
item will show you the additional two items 1G and 2G. This option specifies the amount of system
memory that can be used by the AGP device. The aperture is a portion of the PCI memory address range
dedicated for graphics memory address space. Host cycles that hit the aperture range are forwarded to the
AGP without any translation. See
AGP Data Transfer Rate:
Two options are available: 4X
you installed the AGP adapter that supports AGP 3.0 specifications, this item will disappear.
The 2X mode here means you are using the AGP 4X adapter, but set it to 2X mode via software or
applications AGP concerning settings.
AGP Driving Control:
Two options are available: Auto or Manual. The default setting is Manual. Choosing Manual to key in an
AGP Driving Value is described within the next section. It is recommended this field be set to Auto in
order to avoid any errors in your system.
