4.11 Form Tear-Off

1)
Function:
Form tear-off allows the user to tear the continuous form paper at a desired cut position
by advancing the paper to the cutting edge of the front access cover.
2)
Set-up
Conditions:
(a) Continuous form paper is loaded into the push tractor to tractor feed.
Tear Position:
(a) Load continuous form paper.
Press the TEAR switch to move paper up to tear position.
(b) Adjust to desired tear position using fine LFs.
SHlFT + LF = Reverse Fine LF.
SHIFT + FF = Forward Fine LF.
3)
Action:
(a) The paper will advance to the tear-off position approximately 2 seconds after printing.
(b) When data is received by the printer, or the SEL switch is pressed to select the printer,
the paper will retract to the user-defined printing position.
Tear Up ↔ Down operation is alternately executed by pressing the TEAR switch.

Print Position Adjustment

1)
Function:
While in the Select state, Pressing the SHIFT switch in conjunction with TEAR or Park
switch causes the Print Position of First Letter to be Set.
2)
Set-up
(a) SHIFT + PARK = Forward Print Position Adjust
SHIFT + TEAR = Reverse Print Position Adjust
