DIP Switch 1: Sync - Master / Slave
This alters the syncing interaction between the MADI-USB Combo card and the mixer. As standard, the
card should be set to sync to the mixer and so, switch 1 should be set OFF. To connect two consoles
together using two MADI-USB Combo cards, for a master/slave type operation, the card within the master
console should be set to sync to the Mixer (switch 1 OFF), and the slave console/card set to sync to the
Card (Switch 1 ON). The consoles will then need to be set to INTernal and OPTion clocking respectively.
DIP Switch 2: USB Out Range
This determines what channels (console output paths) the USB is sent out from on the USB portion of the
option card. OFF is channels 1-32, ON (default) is channels 33-64.
DIP Switches 3 & 4: USB / MADI In Range
Together these switches determine the input range and positions of the MADI and USB streams. You can
also set the card to 64 channels of MADI in using these switches.
3 OFF 4 OFF: Input Channels 1-64 MADI (no USB in)
3 OFF 4 ON (default): Input Channels 33-64 USB, Input Channels 1-32 MADI
3 ON 4 OFF: Input Channels 1-32 USB, Input Channels 33-64 MADI
3 ON 4 ON: Input Channels 1-64 MADI (no USB in)
