Voice Memos: Recording and Playback
Playing Voice Memos
Pictures for which voice memos have been recorded are indicated by ~ in
full-
frame playback mode.

Display the desired picture in full-
frame playback mode
(OJ
26) or
thumbnail display mode
(OJ
50)
and press the
MENU
button .
• The playback menu is displayed.

Use the multi selector to choose

Voice
memo and press the
®
button.
• The screen for playing voice memos is displayed.

Press the
®
button to listen to the voice
memo.
• Playback ends when the voice memo ends or the
®
button is pressed again.
• Use the zoom control Tor
W
to adjust the volume.
• Press the
MENU
button before or after playing a voice
memo to return to full-frame playback mode.
Deleting Voice Memos
Select a picture with a voice memo and press the
un
button. Use the multi selector to choose [~] and press
the
®
button. Only the voice memo will be deleted.

Voice Memos
• When a picture with a voice memo attached is deleted, both the picture and its voice memo are
deleted.
• If a voice memo already exists for the current picture, it must be deleted before a new voice memo
can be recorded.
• The COOLPIX 5570 is not able to attach a voice memo to pictures recorded by other cameras.
