Location
Activate location services so applications (such as Maps) can
access your location information.
To turn the location services on:
1. From the Home screen, tap
system menu, tap location.
2. Touch and slide the Location services slider to the right
to turn the option On.
3. Tap Privacy Statement to view the statement.
4. Tap Show icon to enable or disable the Location
request indicator.
Note: When Location services are on, your current location is
available to any apps you have allowed to access it.
Settings. Under the
Advertising ID
To provide more relevant advertising, Windows Phone allows
apps to access a unique identifier for each owner of a device.
You can reset or turn off access to this identifier at any time.
1. From the Home screen, tap
system menu, tap location.
2. Touch and slide the Advertising ID slider to the right to
turn the option On or to the left to turn the option Off.
3. Tap reset your advertising ID to reset your
Advertising ID.
4. Tap Privacy Statement to view the statement.
