Battery Saver
Battery Saver can be used to manage how your apps use
battery power. You can view the battery power your apps are
consuming and change whether they can run in the
background. You can also turn off all nonessential features
and conserve your battery or limit background usage to save
power.
The Battery Saver app has a usage screen and a settings
screen. To access the Battery Saver settings screen:
1. From the Home screen, tap
system menu, tap battery saver.
2. In settings, select one of the following:
• Off: Turn off Battery Saver.
• When battery is under 20%: Battery Saver conserves
power when the battery level gets low.
• Always (limits functionality): Battery Saver to
conserve power all the time. This option prevents most
background functions.
3. Touch and slide the Now until next charge slider to
the right to turn it On, if you want Battery Saver to
conserve power immediately and then return to normal
battery usage the next time you charge your phone.

Data Sense
The Data Sense app finds more efficient ways to use cellular
data and displays your usage. For more information, refer to
"Data Sense" on page 86.
1. From the Home screen, tap
system menu, tap data sense.
2. Tap set limit and then tap the Limit type field. Tap none
specified, one time, monthly, or unlimited.
3. To restrict background data, touch and slide the
Restrict background data slider to the right.
4. To restrict background data when roaming, touch and
slide the Restrict background data when roaming slider
to the right.
5. To set Browser data savings and tap off, standard, high,
or automatic.
6. Tap Learn more to display additional information.
