OPERATION

BASIC OPERATION

SWITCHING ON/OFF THE UNIT AND ILLUMINATING
Press PWR/ILL button on the front panel or POWER/ILL button on the remote con-
trol to turn on the unit.
When system is on, press PWR/ILL or POWER/ILL button shortly to control the
brightness of VFD. Press the button for several seconds to turn off the unit.
FRONTPANEL RELEASE
Press OPEN button on the front panel to detach the removable faceplate.
SOUND ADJUSTMENT
Press SEL button on the front panel of the unit or on the remote control to select the
desired adjustment mode.
The adjustment mode will change in the following order:
VOL BASS TRE MID BAL FAD
(Volume) (Bass) (Treble) (Middle) (Balance) (Fader)
By rotating the volume knob on the front panel or VOLUME +/- buttons on the remo-
te control, it is possible to adjust the desired sound quality.
MUTE
Press and hold PTY/ENT button on the front panel for several seconds or press
MUTE button on the remote control to mute down the sound instantly. Press it again
to resume sound output.
