Changing the Vibrate Setting

1. Press or the [CENTER] navigation key.
2. Select "Setting Handset" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press
3. Select "Incoming Option" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press
4. Select "Vibrate" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press
5. Press [ ] or [ ] to select the desired setting (Vib.&Ring, Vib.®Ring, Off), and then press
R To set Vibrate only, without ringing, select "Vib.&Ring" and set the Ringer Volume to "Off", or turn
Silent Mode on. See Page 20.

R When using the unit in a loud environment, it is recommended to set the Ringer Type to "1", "2", "9",
"30" or "32", and the Vibrate setting to "Vib.&Ring".

While receiving a call

R If you attach the headset while receiving an incoming call, the ring from the handset does not switch to
the headset. If you attach the headset before receiving an incoming call, and headset tone is set to
"On", a tone will be heard from the headset. If Vibrate is set to "On", the handset will vibrate whether a
headset is attached or not. For details, see "Incoming Option" on Page 64.
