Using the Handset Phonebook

Locking the Handset Phonebook

You can lock/unlock the Phonebook while the handset is in standby mode.
If no password has been set, you cannot lock the Phonebook. To set the password, see "Setting the
Password" on Page 20.
Locking the Handset Phonebook
1. Press or the [CENTER] navigation key.
2. Select "Setting Handset" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press
3. Select "Other Option" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press
4. Select "Phonebook Lock" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press
5. Press [ ] or [ ] to select "On", and then press

Unlocking the Handset Phonebook

3. Select "Other Option" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press
4. Select "Phonebook Lock" by pressing the arrow keys, and then press
5. Press [ ] or [ ] to select "Off", and then press
6. Enter your password.

Unlocking the Handset Phonebook Temporarily
1. Press .
2. Press [ ] or [ ] to select "H/S Phonebook", and then press
3. Enter your password.
4. You can view the Phonebook and use it to make calls.
