Basic Setup (LH040 Series)

6.1 Step 1: Connect the DVR Docking Stand (OPTIONAL)

The DVR can be positioned in an upright, vertical
position using the included docking stand, or laid
horizontally.
• For vertical orientation, position the DVR over
the docking stand. Push down on the DVR until
you hear a "click".
• To remove the DVR from the docking stand,
hold the docking stand down firmly on a flat sur-
face and pull the DVR up.

6.2 Step 2: Connect the Octopus Cable

• Connect the included Octopus cable to the Vid-
eo Input 1–4 / Video Output / Audio Input 1–
2 / Audio Output port on the rear panel of the
DVR.
• Connect camera video cables to the yellow V-
IN ports on the Octopus cable.
