Switch 1 turned on allows the CEL-iN1 to call your phone for 13 seconds before hanging up (this is to
prevent it from going to your voicemail if you don't answer.
Switch 1 turned off allows the CEL-iN1 to call your phone for 20 seconds before hanging up (this is
useful if you have voicemail disabled and want to allow time for your phone to divert to your backup
phone when your primary has no signal)
Switch 2 turned on permits only Door Opening Authorisation Numbers to call the CEL-iN1 and open
the door
Switch 2 turned off allows any number to call and open the door (not recommended as random
marketing calls that find the CEL-iN1's number will activate the door)
Switch 3 turned on will allow relay 1 activation for 6 seconds when activated (useful for when
connected to electronic keeps or magnetic locks instead of a garage door)
Switch 3 turned off will allow relay 1 activation for 2 seconds when activated (suitable for most
garage door operators)
Switch 4 turned on sets the call duration time to 78 seconds before automatic hang-up
Switch 4 turned off sets the call duration time to 95 seconds before automatic hang-up
On the front panel of the internal receiver you will notice a hole labelled Scan/Reset
Inserting a long pin through the hole and pressing the button for 4 seconds will prompt the CEL-iN1
to search for a network signal again (you may want to search for a stronger signal).
To reset the unit to default
Switch off the unit at the mains, insert a long thin pin into the scan/reset hole and press down the
button while switching the unit back on at the mains. Keep the reset button pressed until you hear 5
bleeps then release. The settings will be cleared and the CEL-iN1 will now go through its testing
cycle. All LED lamps will come on during the test as will the relays that operate the doorbell and
door. When the test cycle is complete the unit will return to the standby status. If the door opener is
connected to the "open door" connector (relay 1) your door will be opened during the test cycle.
You will need to close it afterwards.
Please note the SIM card which holds the caller ID numbers permitted to call the CEL-iN1 will not be
erased! To clear these numbers refer to section (Programming Door Authorisation Numbers) of this
instruction manual.
