    OS. One local analog or one remote digital IP user can access and control 16 multi-platforms (PS/2 and USB) servers at a time. By default, KVMultiport boots with an automatically assigned IP address from a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server on the network.

    8.8 Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade Upgrade the KVMultiport firmware to take advantage of new features. Download the firmware from the Support section of Black Box’s website –www.Black Box.com. Save the firmware file on the Client computer. From the menu select Firmware Upgrade. The Firmware Upgrade window appears showing the current firmware version see Figure 16.

After about 30 seconds the Login page appears. Note! Depending on the type of firmware upgrade, the following settings may be erased: User settings, server names, mouse and video adjustments.

    Enter. By default, the user name is: admin and the password is access, (both lower case). On first connection install the Black Box certificate and ActiveX control. You must login as an Administrator to your computer to install the ActiveX control. Once the ActiveX control is installed, all types of users can login.

    Toolbar icon – This is the minimized toolbar from which you switch and configure the system. Black Box icon – Hold the mouse over the icon to view information about current server, connection time and video mode. 9.2 Taking over a busy remote session While only one user can have control, many users can be connected simultaneously.
