Using the Handle Zoom Rocker
Use the functions in the [l Camera Setup]
the zoom speed.

Setting the Zoom Speed
Refer to the following table for approximate zoom speeds of the entire
zoom range (end to end).
1 Open the zoom [Speed Level] submenu.
[l Camera Setup]
2 Select [Fast], [Normal] or [Slow] and then press SET.
3 Open the zoom [Handle Rocker] submenu.
[l Camera Setup]
4 Select the desired level and then press SET.
• You can select [Off] if you do not intend to use the handle zoom
rocker.

* When the zoom speed is too fast (approximately 2 seconds end-to-end), the camcorder will have more trouble focusing auto-
matically while zooming.
Using the Wireless Controller or Optional Remote Control
The zoom speeds when using the wireless controller and when using an optional (ZR-2000 or ZR-1000 Zoom
Remote Controller) or commercially available remote control connected to the REMOTE terminal are different.
When using the wireless controller, you must press the record enable button and desired zoom button
simultaneously to zoom.
