How do I reset my KDL55EX500 after a power outage? I tried unplugging for 2 min, holding power button on set for 30 sec but still get no lights or power when turning set on? Please help
To reset the Sony BRAVIA KDL-55EX500 after a power outage:
1. Press and hold the POWER button on the TV (not the remote).
2. The TV will turn itself off and then back on again.
3. Release the POWER button once the TV restarts.
Important: This reset will clear all customized settings, including the Parental Lock settings.
