The stop bit(s) at the end of each transmitted character marks the end of
transmission of one character and prepares the receiving device for the next
character in the serial data stream. Set the number of stop bits (one or two) to match
host device requirements.

ACK/NACK P
ROTOCOL
This parameter offers control of the data transmission process in addition to that
offered by hardware handshaking. Hardware handshaking is always enabled and
cannot be disabled by the user.
Disable ACK/NACK Protocol
When this option is selected, the reader neither generates nor expects ACK/NACK
handshaking packets.
