    Lexmark's warranty does not cover damage caused by non-Lexmark ink or ink cartridges. Replacing ink cartridges Make sure you have a new ink cartridge or cartridges before you begin. You must install new cartridges immediately after removing the old ones, or the ink remaining in the printhead nozzles may dry out.

    Changing the Power Saver timeout The Power Saver timeout is the time it takes for the printer to switch to Power Saver mode when the printer is left idle. The Power Saver feature optimizes energy efficiency by reducing the printer power consumption (as much as 28 percent on some printer models) compared to the default printer settings.

    • The printer can communicate on only one wireless network at a time. Configuring the printer for an ad hoc wireless network will keep it from working on any other wireless network, either ad hoc or infrastructure.
