The left or right-hand daytime running lamp is defective.
Check whether you are permitted to change the bulb yourself

Adaptive Highbeam Assist is deactivated and temporarily
inoperative. Possible causes are:
the windshield in the camera's field of vision is dirty.

visibility is impaired due to heavy rain, snow or fog.

Clean the windshield.

If the system detects that the camera is fully functional again, the
Adaptive Highbeam Assist Now Available
is shown.
