Panel Top Panel Indicator Description ON: The splitter is on. Power LED OFF: The splitter is off. ON: both source device and display device are connected. INPUT LED OFF: only source is connected but no display device, or no source device is connected. ON: When the correspondingly numbered OUTPUT outputs 1~8 is connected to a display device.
Front Panel ID Connector Description Connects to a 12 VDC 1A power Power Connector adapter. INPUT Port Connects to an HDMI source device. Connects up to eight HDMI display OUTPUT Port 1~8 devices. Rear Panel ID Connector/Switch Description RS232 Update firmware. EDID DIP Switch Adjusts EDID settings.
Hardware Installation Connect an HDMI source device (such as a Blu-Ray, games console, media server etc.) to the input port splitter using quality HDMI cables. Connect eight HDMI display devices (LED/LCD display or projector) to the output port of the splitter. Connect the power adapter to the splitter and power on all devices.
EDID Management The splitter features EDID management, which provides three EDID options for different resolutions output and ensures that the HDMI source reliably outputs correct content for display. The following table lists the EDID information built in the splitter. You can toggle the switch to a certain position to read EDID from a specific output or to directly use the EDID information.
