Operating the connected TV

The connected TV can be operated with the remote control of this system. The fac-
tory setting allows you to operate Sharp's TVs and VCRs with it.
To operate those of other manufacturers, change the contents registered in the
remote control (see page 40).

Press the TV ON/STAND-BY button to turn on the TV.

Press the TV CHANNEL ( or ) button to set the channel.

Press the TV VOLUME ( or ) button to control the TV volume.
To enjoy the sound from the speakers of this system:
Turn on the system and press the FUNCTION button to select "TV".
" The DVD player automatically enters the power stand-by mode.
! Watching images from digital tuner, VCR,
etc.

Turn on the system and press the FUNCTION button.
" For the digital tuner, select "AUX".
" For the videotape, select "VCR".

Turn on the digital tuner, VCR, etc.

Press the TV/VIDEO button, and set the TV to VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2,
etc.
" When you watch images from digital tuner, press the DIGITAL/ANALOG but-
ton and select "AUX ANALOG" or "AUX DIGITAL" depending on the connect-
ed input terminal.
" When you watch a videotape, press the playback button of the VCR.
Caution:
Some Sharp TVs and VCRs cannot be operated with this remote control.
