Operating the connected TV

SD-AT50W
The TV can be operated with the remote control of this system. The factory setting
allows you to operate Sharp's TVs with it.
To operate those of other manufacturers, change the contents registered in the
remote control (see page 27).

Error indicators and warnings

When you load an unplayable disc or fail to perform operations properly, the following
messages are displayed on the AV control unit.
AV control unit display
" Place the system away from noise source or plug the
AC power leads to other AC outlets. (*)
" The speaker is not connected properly.
" The amplifier is defective.
Set the system to the stand-by mode and turn the
power on again. (*)
" The amplifier is defective.
Set the system to the stand-by mode and turn the
power on again. (*)
" The amplifier is defective.
Place the system away from noise source or plug the
AC power leads to other AC outlets. (*)
" The cooling fan on the back of the subwoofer/ampli-
fier does not run due to foreign objects caught in it.
Set the subwoofer/amplifier unit to the stand-by
mode and remove the foreign objects around the
fan.
" The digital audio input socket is not connected prop-
erly.
" Unspecified signal is received and cannot be recog-
nised.
" The system connection cable is unplugged.
" The temperature is too high.
Set the system to the stand-by mode and wait a
while.
(*): Should the same message appear even if the subwoofer/amplifier unit are un-
plugged and plugged in or are set to the stand-by mode and on again, contact your
local dealer where you purchased the system.
