a) On a Macintosh computer, to FireWire port

To i.LINK (IEEE1394) connector
In the PC operation settings dialog box of the
utility software, in the FAM operation section,
set "Login" to "Permit" (see page 42).
Note
Pins 1, 3, and 4 of switch S1401 on the rear panel of the unit must be
set to OFF (the factory default setting is OFF) to enable utility
software settings. If any of these pins are in the ON position, return
them to the OFF position.
