- DO NOT raise the intensity level if you
experience abnormal discomfort during
or after treatment with Philips Lumea
Comfort (see chapter 'Risks of using
Philips Lumea Comfort').
- DO NOT raise the intensity level during
a hair removal session even if you
experience no discomfort. Discomfort
may also appear some time after the
session.
When you turn on Philips Lumea Comfort, its
intensity level is automatically reset to level 1. At
the start of each session, only one intensity light is
on: the intensity light for level 1. This means that, at
the start of each session, you have to increase the
intensity to the highest level that still felt comfortable
in the previous session.

Covering skin areas

You have to administer the pulses in rows. Start at one
end of each row and progress sequentially towards
the other end. This technique allows better control
over skin coverage and helps avoid treating the same
area more than once or overlapping areas treated.
When you place Philips Lumea Comfort on the skin,
the device creates temporary pressure marks on the
area treated. These marks can be used to position the
device for administering the subsequent pulse.
- Try to avoid overlapping pulses! Do not
treat the same area of skin more than
once during a hair removal session!
