Scanning
Removes the rippled pattern that can appear in subtly shaded image areas, such
as skin tones. Also improves results when scanning magazine or newspaper
images that include screening in their original print processes. The results of
descreening do not appear in the preview, only in your scanned image. Available
in Home Mode, Office Mode, and Professional Mode. You can select the type of
original in Professional Mode.
Enhances text recognition when scanning text documents. Available in Home
Mode and Office Mode.
Makes Black & White images clearer and text recognition more accurate by
separating the text from the graphics. Available in Home Mode and Office Mode.
Drops the selected color. Available in Office Mode and Professional Mode.
Darkens the selected color. Available in Office Mode and Professional Mode.
