Vibration Noise:

1.
Check for loose top cover and retighten rear screws.
2.
Front P
anel Vibration – Repetitive or popping noise is the complaint. Remove
the front panel of the washer. (Note: Sometimes the noise may be originating
from a
loose dryer front panel, even though the dryer is not operating at the
time.)

ON A RISER: With the front
panel off, check to see if
base frame
downward. If they are, bend
the flanges so they are
horizontal.

Possible the wire harness located inside the front panel may be tapping again
the lower front edge of the base frame. Some techs have wrapped foam tap
around the harness to cushion it. Generally the wire is loose due to a broken wire
harness retainer. The wire retainer can be broken if the washer was handled
roughly, causing the tub to shift abruptly, resulting in the retainer breaking.
