RECORDING TO THE USB MEMORY DEVICE OR SD/MMC CARD
Recording copyright material without permission of the copyright owners is usually an in-
frigement. if you wish to re-record copyright material, permission from the copyright owner
is necessary. SANYO does not approve of, and cannot be held responsible for,any unlawful
use of this unit.
Preparation
1. Press the FUNCTION button to select the playback function
and prepare the related recording source. ("CD FUNCTION",
"TUNER FUNCTION ","LINE IN FUNCTION")
2. Insert the SD/MMC card or connect the USB memory device.
Note:Recording is not available for AM.
Note:You can change FM pig tail wire position,while FM station is
weak or to be interfered for improve recording sound quality.
Recording bit rate setting
If the reading source is not a MP3/WMA file, you can select the recording bit rate to get a good
sound.
1. Press the INFO/BIT-SEL button,then 128 "KBPS" flash.
2. Press the SKIP-/DOWN or SKIP+/UP button to select BIT RATE.
3. 128 KBPS, 192 KBPS, 256 KBPS, 64 KBPS, 96 KBPS 5 type selectable bit rate
Automatic setting: 128 KBPS
Please refer to the recording time table as shown below.
4. Press the INFO/BIT-SEL button again to confirm setting.

Recording
1. Press the REC button once "X1" "X2" appear on the display
while recording CD song.
2. press the SKIP-/DOWN or SKIP+/UP select "X1" or "X2" .
3. Press the REC button twice "USB" "CARD" appear on the display.
4. Press the SKIP-/DOWN or SKIP+/UP select USB or CARD. If no
press any key auto recording to USB.
5. If only USB or CARD in socket auto recording to "USB" or "CARD".
6. Press REC button again to stop recording at any time. "USB" & "REC"
NOTE:
1. While recording CD song, if press REC key or STOP key will cancel record.
2. Under "X2" recording,
if setted
128KBPS 192KBPS 256KBPS, then automatic stetting 96KBPS.
