TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE –
PROBLEM
WILL NOT POWER UP
- No operation
- No keypad response
- No LEDs or display
WILL NOT START CYCLE
(No response when Start button
is pressed.)

Water valve is activated intermittently

during the steam cycle.)

POSSIBLE CAUSE
No power to dryer.
Connection problem between AC plug and dryer. See Test #2: Supply Connections, page 10.
Connection problem between CCU and UI.
Power supplies not present at machine electronics. See Test #1: CCU Power Check, page 9.
User Interface problem.
Door not fully closed or striking the door latch.
Door Switch problem.
Drive Belt / Belt Switch problem.
Thermal Fuse / Motor problem.
User Interface problem.
CCU problem.
Poor airflow.
Check the Pause/Cancel button.
Moisture Sensor problem.
Thermistor problem.
User Interface problem.
CCU problem.
User selects invalid option.
User Interface problem.
Drive Belt / Belt Switch problem.
Thermal Fuse (Elect. Only).
Door switch problem.
Motor problem.
CCU problem.
Check installation.
Check for L1 (Gas/Elect.) and L2 (Elect. Only). Perform CCU L1 and L2 tests under
Heater system malfunction or open heater coil.
CCU problem.
Heater coil shorted.
Heater relay shorted.
Heater system problem.
Dryness setting for auto cycles.
Lint screen full.
Heater vent clogged.
Moisture Sensor problem.
Adjust Customer Focused Dryness Level.
Steam cycle not selected.
No water to valve.
No water from valve.
CHECKS & TESTS
Check power at outlet, check circuit breaker,
fuses, or junction box connections.
Check connections and continuity between
CCU and UI.

Be sure the door is completely closed,
then press and hold the START button.
