GENERAL FUNCTION CHECK AND TEST PROGRAM

General function check.
If nothing happens when the power switch is turned on, turn off the power switch and do the
following:
Note:Be cautions when checking, as the machine may suddenly start running.
Always turn off the power to the machine when replacing parts.
Replace only one part at a time and recheck the machine each time a part has
been replaced.
1. Check all wire connections
2. Replace the Machine Socket Unit, and recheck the machine
3. Replace Circuit Board A, and recheck the machine
4. Replace Circuit Board D, and recheck the machine
5. Replace the Transformer Unit, and recheck the machine
If the Light Bulb does not light when the power switch is turned on, turn off the power switch
and do the following:
1. Replace the Light Bulb, and recheck the machine.
2. Replace Circuit Board A, and recheck the machine.
If the (Liquid Crystal Display) does nit display anything when the power switch is turned on, turn
off the power switch and do the following:
1. Replace the LCD Unit, and recheck the machine
2. Replace Circuit Board K, and recheck the machine
3. Replace Circuit Board A, and recheck the machine
Preparation:
1. Turn off the Power Switch
2. Set the Bobbin Winder Spindle to the left position
3. Shift the Speed Control Slide Lever to the left (Min) position
4. Remove the Presser Foot and raise the Presser Bar Lever
5. Turn the hand wheel to raise the Needle Bar to its highest position
6. Connect the Foot Control
Note: DURING THE TEST PROGRAM TO PROCEED TO THE NEXT TEST.
PRESS THE « VISUAL » BUTTON ONLY IF THE MACHINE PASSED
THE TEST CORRECTLY. IF THE MACHINE DID NOT PASS THE TEST
CORRECTLY, PRESS THE « MESSAGE « BUTTON TO PROCEED TO
THE NEXT TEST.
