4) CONNECTING EXTERNAL AUDIO HI-FI SYSTEM
To connect any external Audio Hi-Fi system, the receiver is provided with two
RCA connectors at the rear, marked "Audio L and R" respectively to
connect the left and right audio.
In case of Audio Hi-Fi systems with digital audio input, please connect to S/PDIF.
5) CONNECTING YOUR ANALOG RECEIVER
To facilitate users using analog receivers to view analog channels, the receiver has
been provided with a loop through terminal marked as "TV/VCR".
Connect the coaxial cable from this terminal to the RF input terminal of your analog
receiver.
By keeping the receiver in standby, you will be able to tune and view analog channels
from your analog receiver.

1) STANDBY BUTTON
Switches between operation and standby modes.

Moves the TV/radio channel up or down.

3) INFRARED SENSOR
Receives the IR commands from the RCU. Do not block the view
of the sensor.

4) 7 SEGMENT DISPLAY
Displays the current channel number. While the receiver is in
standby mode, the display will show the current time.

5) SMART CARD SLOT
A slot for a Smart Card
Although some TV and radio channels are free to air, most TV and
SMART CARD
radio/music channels are available on a subscription basis and

can only be enjoyed via a Conditional Access component. The
Conditional Access component is a removable Smart Card.
Please note that the gold chip on the Smart Card should face
downwards and inwards when you insert it into the Smart Card
Interface.
