Radio amplifier.
Radio chassis. GO to
Audio cable.
Radio amplifier.
Subwoofer enable line shorted. GO to
Subwoofer.
Radio amplifier.
Circuitry. GO to
Subwoofer.
Radio amplifier.
RICP. REFER to
Fuse.

Circuitry. GO to

Turn on the radio.
Is the radio chassis display illuminated?
Yes
GO to A2.
No
GO to A4.
Perform the speaker wrap around test by pressing preset buttons 6 and 3 simultaneously.
Verify that sound is coming from the radio speakers (18808).
Is there sound coming from the radio speakers?
Yes
GO to A3.
No
GO to Pinpoint Test J.
Refer to the Audio Guide for audio system controls.
Verify that all the controls and features operate properly.
Do all the controls and features operate properly?
Yes
The system is OK.
No
GO to A4.
Check fuse 6 (30A) in the power distribution box and fuse 5 (20A) and fuse 3 (10A) in the engine mini-fuse block.
Are the fuses OK?
Yes
