FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS)

2. Throttle Body

A: REMOVAL
1) Disconnect battery ground cable.
2) Remove intercooler. <Ref. to IN(DOHC TUR-
BO)-10, REMOVAL, Intercooler.>
3) Disconnect connector from throttle position sen-
sor (A) and idle air cotrol solenoid valve (B) and
pressure sensor (C).

4) Disconnect accelerator cable.
5) Disconnect engine coolant hoses from throttle
body.
6) Remove bolts which secure throttle body to in-
take manifold.
THROTTLE BODY
B: INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
Replace gasket with a new one.
Tightening torque:
22 N·m (2.2 kgf-m, 15.9 ft-lb)
