System Check Screen
This screen always appears when meter
is first powered on so that you can make
sure the display is working properly. Do
not use the meter if the system check
screen does not match the example here.

c (Configure) Button
• Marks a control solution test.
• Changes the test strip code
(scrolls forward), date, time,
alarm settings, sound options,
and reviews stored readings.
Test Strip Port
Insert the Top end of a new FreeStyle®
Test Strip here. The meter powers on
when you insert the test strip.
