Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
NOTE: Sharp edges may be present.
1. Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect the
power.
NOTE: The refrigerator and freezer door
switches are identical and are removed in the
same manner.
2. Depending on the door switch, open the
freezer or refrigerator door. The door switch
locations are shown below.

3. Use a small-bladed screwdriver and pry
the door switch out of the freezer/refrig-
erator liner opening.

4. Disconnect the wires from the door switch
terminals.
REASSEMBLY NOTE: Be sure to position ei-
ther door switch with the straight side facing
the front (see the top photo) before you press
it into the opening.
