6.3.8 Storing a Battery

If storing your notebook for an extended period of time, please remove the battery. Fully
charge the battery before using your notebook again.

6.3.9 Working With Extra Battery Packs

If you spend a lot of time traveling or work without connecting your notebook to an
electrical outlet, it may be a good idea to carry the additional battery packs so you can
quickly replace a discharged battery and continue working.

6.3.10 Maximizing Battery Life

A battery can be recharged many times, but over time it will lose its ability to hold a charge.
To maximize the battery life:
• If you are not using your notebook for a long period, please remove the battery.
• If you have a spare battery pack, please alternate the batteries.
• Ensure your notebook is off when replacing the battery.
• Store the spare battery packs in a cool, dry place, out of the direct sunlight.
