Troubleshooting
•
Do not install this phone near a mi�rowave oven or on
the same ele�tri�al outlet. You ma� experien�e de�reased
performan�e while the mi�rowave oven is operatin�.

If �ou plu� �our phone in with a modem or a sur�e prote�tor,
plu� the phone (or modem/sur�e prote�tor) into a different
lo�ation. If this does not solve the problem, relo�ate �our
phone or modem farther apart from one another, or use a
different sur�e prote�tor.
•
Move �our phone to a hi�her lo�ation. The phone ma� have
better re�eption in a hi�h area.
•
If other phones in �our home are havin� the same problem,
�onta�t �our telephone servi�e provider (�har�es ma� appl�).
I experience poor sound quality when using the
speakerphone.

For in�reased sound qualit� while usin� the speakerphone,
pla�e the handset on a flat surfa�e with the dialin� ke�s
fa�in� up.

When usin� a speakerphone, �ontrollin� ba�k�round noise
in �our environment is essential. While �ou are listenin�
to �our part�, press
mi�rophone off. When it is �our turn to speak, remember to
press
MUTE

Ex�essive ba�k�round noise will �ause a speakerphone to fade
in and out. Tr� �ontrollin� the ba�k�round noise b� turnin� off
an� audio devi�es near the speakerphone. Also, tr� to avoid
interruptin� the person at the other end of the �onversation
while the� are speakin�. If ba�k�round noise �annot be
�ontrolled, �ou should terminate speakerphone operation and
return to normal handset mode.
