Powering Up and Configuring the Cisco MXE 3000

Before you can install the Cisco MXE 3000 license, you must complete initial configuration.
Step 1 To power up the Cisco MXE 3000, press the Power On/Standby button on the front panel.
After the Cisco MXE 3000 boots up and the Windows login prompt displays, press

Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
Step 3 Enter the following credentials to log in:
• User name: MXE-Service
• Password: Cisco1
Enter the appropriate TCP/IP settings for your network.
Step 4
You can now access the administrative web UI and install the Cisco MXE 3000 license. For
information about installing licenses, see the Deployment Guide for Cisco Media Experience
Engine 3000 on Cisco.com.
