    Once the initial configuration is complete, you will be able to access the administrative web user interface (UI) to install licenses, as described in the Deployment Guide for the Cisco Media Experience Engine 3000 on Cisco.com.

For rack-mounting instructions, refer to the documentation that ships with your rack hardware kit and the Hardware Installation Guide for Cisco Media Experience Engine 3000 on Cisco.com.

    Installing the Cisco MXE 3000 Use the following information when connecting peripheral cables and power cords to the rear panel of the Cisco MXE 3000. Warning To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or damage to the equipment, do not plug telephone or telecommunications connectors into RJ-45 connectors.

    Before you can install the Cisco MXE 3000 license, you must complete initial configuration. Step 1 To power up the Cisco MXE 3000, press the Power On/Standby button on the front panel. After the Cisco MXE 3000 boots up and the Windows login prompt displays, press Step 2 Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
