7. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE PROBLEM Heat does not come on when thermostat is turned on. Pilot burner will not light. Pilot burner will not stay lit. Fat appears to smoke excessively. Food sticks to griddle. Food burned around edges or contains dark specks. Food is undercooked inside.
