3. INTERFACE
3.l GENERAL DESCRIPTION
FDDIs may be connected to its controller in either
parallel or daisy-chain configuration. The number
of FDD I s which can be connected to one ·controller
depends on dividual system and controller. For
daisy-chain connection, each controller can control
up to 4 FDDIs.
Signal line termination resistors are provided on
each FDD. The basic FDD connection to the
controller is shown in Figure
3.i.
