COOKTOP USE

WOK RING

A Wok ring is provided with your new appliance. The ring is cast iron, and has a porcelain enamel
finish. It can be used with most commercially available woks. To use the ring, place it on the grate over
the desired burner. The vertical tabs on the ring should be aligned with the main fingers of the grate.
The small protrusions on the bottom surface of the ring should straddle the grate fingers to prevent
the ring from rotating during cooking. See fig. 9. The bottom of the wok should be supported and
retained by the vertical tabs of the ring.
To clean the wok ring, place it in the dishwasher after use. Stubborn food deposits may be removed
by soaking to loosen the soil, then washing as usual.
