Using USB power

Power can be supplied from the computer's USB
terminal to operate this unit.
• Start the computer beforehand.
• Turn the unit off beforehand.

Take out the unit's USB plug.
Push and slide
until a "click"
sound is heard.

Press and hold [g STOP/RETURN] on
the unit while connecting the unit to the
computer's USB port.
The unit is turned on via USB power
source.

Storing the USB plug:
STOP
RETURN
Insert the USB plug straight in the
same direction as that of the terminal.
g Disconnecting the unit
After switching off the unit's power, disconnect the unit.

When using USB power, the continuous recording
time for 1 file is a maximum of 24 hours. However, if
the file size exceeds 2 GB during recording, recording
is stopped at 2 GB, and recording is then restarted as
a new file. Recording is not performed for the approx.
2 seconds between recording stopping and then
restarting.

Do not disconnect the unit while saving the recording
data. The data or this unit may be destroyed.

When using USB power, AUTO POWER OFF function
does not work. (➜ page 52)
