4. Enter the host name.
Up to 8 alphanumeric characters can be set for the

5. Select the communication speed by clicking the pull-

6. Click the [SET&REBOOT] button to execute the set-
tings and renews the settings of the WJ-HD500 Disk
Recorder.
Video Mode Setup
Clicking the [VIDEO MODE] button in the window, the
VIDEO MODE SETUP window shown in the figure appears
on the display screen.
The items in the window let you set the image quality and
display mode for live video on the display.
Video Mode Setup
The items let you set the image quality displayed on the
Computer Display.
1. Select an update speed for images on the display by
clicking the pulldown list.
The factory default setting is Middle.

2. Select a pixel number (resolution) for images on the dis-
play by clicking the pulldown list.
FRAME:
High resolution (720 x 480) image
FIELD:
Normal resolution (720 x 240) image
1/4FRAME: Lower resolution (360 x 240) image

5. Click the [SET&REBOOT] button to execute the set-
tings.
Sequence Mode Setup
A series of live images can be displayed in succession on
the display for the specified duration.
The items let you set the display mode on the Computer
Display.
1. Select either ON or OFF to enable or disable the
sequence mode by clicking the button.
The factory default setting is OFF.
2. Enter the dwell time to be specified in the box.
Dwell Time can be set to a value between 1 and 30
seconds in increments of 1 second.
The factory default setting is 1 SEC.
3. Select either ON or OFF to enable or disable display
for the inputs on the display screen in sequence by
clicking the buttons in the table.
The factory default settings are OFF.
4. Click the [SET&REBOOT] button to execute the set-
tings.
