WJ-HDB502 BOARD SETUP

The described below are setup the WJ-HDB502 Network
Board.
1. On the MAIN CONTROL PANEL, click the [HDB502
MENU] button. The dialog box as shown in the figure
will appear on the display screen.
2. Enter your user name and password in the dialog box.
The default user name and password are "admin" and
"nil (not required)", respectively.
The NETWORK SETUP window shown in the figure will
appear on the display screen.
Note: When the access is made from the PC that is pre-
viously registered host with the host authorization,
the NETWORK SETUP window will automatically
appear on the display.

3. On the NETWORK SETUP window, clicking the dis-
plays shown below will display the following setup win-
dow on the display.
VIDEO MODE: Specifies the image quality and
sequence for live video.
ALARM: Specifies the mail address for alarm notices
function.
USER: Specifies users and access levels.
HOST: Specifies hosts and access levels.
PS.Data: Specifies communication parameters for
using PS.Data mode.
4. To return to the previous MAIN CONTROL PANEL,
click the [MAIN MENU] button on the window.

Network Setup

The items in the window let you set the communication
parameters of the WJ-HDB502 Network Board.
Changing the parameters will renew the "NETWORK
SETUP" (IP Address, Netmask and Gateway) in the COM-
MUNICATION SETUP menu of the WJ-HD500 SETUP
menu.
Note: The network setup of the board is automatically set
up from the WJ-HD500 Disk recorder when the board is
installed in the Disk Recorder.
Therefore, if no setup changes are needed in the win-
dow, the described setup procedures are not required.
1. Enter the IP Address to be used.
The factory default setting is 192.168.0.10.
2. Enter the netmask to be used.
The factory default setting is 255.255.255.0.
3. Enter the default gateway to be used.
The factory default setting is 192.168.0.1.
