Which operating systems are supported?
DAT USB drives can be connected to servers running under Microsoft Windows
Server 2008, Server 2003, and LinuxKernels 2.6.x. Refer to your supplier for the
most recent information about the operating system versions that are
supported.
2.3

How do I connect the drive to my server?

For optimum performance the drive should be connected to a USB 2.0 port and
it should be the only device on the USB bus. Although the tape drive will function
on USB 1.1, performance will be severely degraded. See also
USB installation for optimum performance" on page
For internal drives, the USB 2.0 connection may be via an internal port on the
server's system board or an external port on the server's rear panel.
