Multiple people should move the switch and heavy components. Examine the installation site The H3C S9500E series can only be used indoors. Make sure that the floor can support the weight of the switch and its accessories. To ensure the normal operation of the switch, ensure that the following elements meet requirements described in “Preparing for installation”... -

Multimeter, 500 V Meg-ohmmeter (used for measuring the insulation resistance), error Meters detector, optical power meter, earth resistance tester The instruments and tools are not shipped with the S9500E series. Install the switch This guide provides basic installation steps. Install a power system See the S9500 Installation Guide for instructions for installing a power system. Install a card Before installing a card, follow these preparations. Put on an ESD-preventive wrist strap and make sure that the wrist strap is properly grounded. -
